Join us for an Earth Day volunteer outing and meetup. We’ll start the morning with a street tree care project with the Lower East Side Ecology Center, where volunteers will help steward neighborhood trees through hands-on activities like soil cultivation, composting, and watering while learning about urban green infrastructure.  

After volunteering, we’ll head to Book Club Bar around 12:30 pm for an informal gathering where you can grab coffee or snacks (available for purchase) and connect with fellow Columbia alumni working in climate and sustainability. You’re welcome to join either the volunteering portion, the social gathering, or both.
